  • Daniel is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Owner and the Director of Integrative Care at The Eden Center. Daniel specializes in psychopharmacology, nutritional integration, BHRT(Bio identical hormone replacement therapy), and is well versed in multiple therapeutic modalities. As a graduate of Stony Brook University, Daniel is Board Certified by the ANCC to provide psychiatric treatment across the lifespan.

    Daniel Breeyear is a nationally recognized psychiatric nurse practitioner and an expert in holistic mental health care. As the founder and director of The Eden Center for Integrative Care, he is committed to transforming how mental wellness is understood and achieved. With extensive clinical experience in psychiatry, functional medicine, and psychopharmacology, Daniel helps patients achieve meaningful, long-term mind-body healing by focusing on the root of the issues. Remission is the only goal of treatment.

    Dan holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from Stony Brook University School of Nursing and is board certified in psychiatric Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. Daniel has also studied master’s-level functional nutrition at Stony Brook University’s Renaissance School of Medicine. His clinical expertise includes brain health coaching, board certification by the International Board of Underwater Medicine (IBUM) as a hyperbaric medicine clinician, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), including pellet administration.

    In addition to clinical care, Daniel serves as chairman of The Eden Center Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to psychiatric care. He is a trusted consultant to leading pharmaceutical companies on psychotropic marketing strategies and product development, as well as a professional practice peer advisor on complex case reviews, psychiatric practice management, and health care startup development. He is also an expert witness in legal cases involving psychiatric care and medication management.

    With a strong foundation in psychopharmacology and a passion for innovation, Daniel remains at the forefront of integrative psychiatry. He is an active member of the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Psych Congress, and the Neuroscience Education Institute. His work continues to shape the future of functional psychiatry, helping patients discover sustainable paths to mental wellness.

  • Alexis Mondella is a dual board certified family and psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She previously had been practicing in primary care and specializing in neurology. During her primary care practice, she noticed a significant need for mental health practitioners and obtained a Post Masters in psychiatry from Sage Colleges. She provides psychopharmacology for mental health illness, substance abuse treatment and weight loss management. She uses evidence based guidelines as well as a holistic approach to address both physical and mental health needs of a patient.

  • Niki Querim, FNP-C, leads The Eden Center’s Integrative Consult Service, where she specializes in evaluating clients seeking to enhance their mental and physical health through evidence-based, adjunctive holistic treatments. Her work bridges the gap between traditional psychiatric care and advanced integrative modalities, offering support in weight management, anti-aging therapies, IV nutrient therapy, hormone optimization, and neurofeedback.

    With over 20 years of experience in nursing and nearly 8 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Niki brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to every consultation. Her background spans medical-surgical nursing, intensive care, IV therapy, primary care, and the last six years focused on pain management, giving her a uniquely holistic perspective on health and wellness.

    As she deepens her expertise in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and functional medicine, Niki remains passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health, vitality, and longevity. Her integrative evaluations are designed to identify root causes, support sustainable outcomes, and complement existing psychiatric treatment plans.

    Outside of her clinical work, Niki enjoys summer adventures and spending time outdoors with her family. Her dedication to lifelong learning and whole-person care makes her an essential part of The Eden Center’s mission to transform mental health through personalized, integrative solutions.

  • Amelia is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, affirming mental health care with a strong emphasis on the mind-body connection. At The Eden Center, she works collaboratively with each client to tailor treatment plans that support emotional well-being and whole-person wellness.

    Her approach is rooted in nonjudgmental, patient-centered care. Amelia takes the time to fully understand each individual’s unique identity, preferences, and goals. She integrates medication management with supportive psychotherapy to help clients reduce symptoms, build coping strategies, and gain insight into their personal experiences and relationships.

    Amelia believes that every client is an equal partner in the treatment relationship. During your first session, you can expect a safe and supportive space to explore your emotional needs, clarify your goals, and begin a personalized path toward healing.   • Adam is an experienced psychotherapist, with a specialization treating mood, anxiety, and depressive disorders. Adam offers a safe, non-judgmental space for his patients to explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that maybe impacting you. If you are at a transitional point in your life. If you regularly experience anxiety, anger, shame, or guilt. If you struggle with self-doubt or self-critical thoughts. If you are repeating unhealthy behavior patterns at work, school, or in relationships. If these experiences keep you from knowing what you truly want or need, Adam will work together with you in order to bring more understanding and peace into your life. Collaboratively, we’ll develop therapy goals, determine your preferred intervention types and your progress will be prioritized and monitored.

  • Adrienne is a licensed mental health counselor who works with all ages with a specialty for treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Adrienne aims to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and compassionate environment as clients explore and navigate their thoughts and emotions. She utilizes evidence-based approaches, trauma-informed care and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to change the negative thought patterns individuals may have about themselves and the world, leading to improved quality of life and overall wellbeing.

    There are often no easy answers to life and the cards we are dealt can make life challenging, demanding and confusing. Adrienne’s hope is to connect with individuals to process life stressors, events and emotions to inspire hope and change, and allow for inner peace, healing and improved wellbeing.

  • Over the course of twenty years as a clinician, Rachel has maintained a high level of commitment to providing service to others. Her approach to therapy is integrative, as she takes a client-directed, competency-based approach so that clients are active in their therapeutic experience. She is committed to social justice issues and assisting clients to discover their strengths, voice, skills, and unique abilities. Rachel incorporates the use of yoga, mindfulness, and the effects of food & mood into therapy practices. She holds a strong belief that physical health and wellness, nutrition, movement, and the power of the mind can assist people to find the balance they are seeking in their lives.

    Rachel has been trained to work with individuals of all ages, couples, children, and families in any context with the full range of clinical disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings including a school setting, psychiatric day treatment center, outpatient clinics, in client homes providing in-home family therapy, in a shelter for homeless families, in a medical facility within pediatrician offices, and in counseling centers on multiple college campuses. She has clinical expertise on the effects of complex trauma, attachment, mood disorders, adoption issues, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism, new parenting, relational issues, college-aged population, and phase of life/transitional issues.

  • David primarily treats children, adolescents and families with over 15 years of experience ranging from outpatient facilities, in-home services, school systems and other NYS entities. He is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD and interpersonal conflict resolution by utilizing a strengths perspective, CBT and systems-based approaches. Using his sense of humor, genuineness and down-to-earth logic when conversing with his clients, David creates an atmosphere that is filled with trust and empowerment.

  • Brenda brings a combination of work/life experiences to her clients. She has 25+ years of experience in the counseling profession as a Licensed Masters Social Worker, in out-patient substance abuse counseling, behavioral mental health, and employee assistance programs. Additionally, Brenda completed training as a prayer minister with 6 years experience in a prayer ministry role. Her approach with people is to provide a safe, calming, and healing atmosphere for people to be able to share, explore, and discover their inner strength, wisdom, and value as a unique person. Primarily she works with people 18 years and older, including seniors.

    Specialty areas are of anxiety, caregiving roles, chronic health issues, depression, general life transitions, grief & loss, relationships issues, stress reduction, and work-related concerns. Understanding more about how our brains work and how faith (including prayer) intertwines in the journey of wellness is amazing and exciting. Brenda uses these tools to help people find a path to attainable healing, in mind, spirit, and body.

  • Steven is a licensed marriage and family therapist who received his master’s degree in psychology, with a concentration in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy from Springfield College. He has over a decade of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings. Steven is a longstanding member of the New York chapter of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and utilizes individualized brief solution-focus techniques to ensure that all clients receive effective treatment that meets their unique needs. Steven’s treatment techniques have always included a person centered approach. He firmly believes that people are experts on themselves and with skilled therapeutic guidance people are fully capable of discovering solutions that result in a positive change.

  • As a Mental Health Counselor-Limited Permit (MHC-LP), I specialize in helping adults navigate self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, anxiety (both general and social), trauma, and depression. My approach is person-centered, ensuring that each client feels heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward healing.

    By integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy techniques, I help individuals identify and reframe negative thought patterns, reshape personal narratives, and develop healthier coping strategies. My goal is to provide a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

  • Rachel brings a fresh, integrative, analytical perspective to therapy by focusing on identifying the root causes of distress and dysfunction and then addressing the mind, body, and soul to achieve the transformation you seek. With a diverse background as a paramedic, wilderness instructor, teacher, and parent, Rachel brings an eclectic mix of understanding, resiliency, and creativity into the office.

    Trauma/PTSD, grief, relationships, families, First Responders, religious/cult trauma, birth/mothering, psychedelic assisted therapy, psychedelic journey integration work, and spiritual development/therapeutic integration are among her major clinical interests. When working with Rachel, you can expect an experience tailored to your individual needs that gives you real tools to work with that can bring you both healing from the past and growth for the future.

  • Elyse Weaver is a NYS Licensed Master Social Worker. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College. Elyse has 10 years of experience in the field and believes in a person centered approach to therapy. Elyse has experience treating both chronic and acute mental health concerns. She works with both children and adults with various mental health diagnoses including; trauma, gerontology, ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and psychotic disorders. She utilizes evidence-based approaches and a number of treatment modalities to assist clients. Elyse believes that people are experts on themselves and with guidance and support can create effective life changes.
